ScanSign
Account & Data Deletion

There is no account to delete.

ScanSign does not create accounts and does not store any of your scans, signatures, or documents on our servers. Everything lives on your device.

What this means for you: the only place your data exists is on the phone that has ScanSign installed. There is no server-side copy for us to wipe.

How to delete all your ScanSign data

To remove every scan, signature, annotation, and OCR cache stored by ScanSign:

  1. Open Settings on your Android phone.
  2. Go to Apps (or Apps & notifications on some devices).
  3. Find and tap ScanSign.
  4. Tap Storage & cache.
  5. Tap Clear storage (this removes all documents, signatures, annotations) and Clear cache.

To delete ScanSign entirely from your device:

  1. Long-press the ScanSign icon on your home screen or app drawer.
  2. Tap Uninstall (or drag to the Uninstall area).
  3. Confirm.

Uninstalling ScanSign removes all app data automatically — Android handles this at the OS level.

What about your shared files?

If you tapped Share on a scan or signed PDF, that file went to whichever app you chose (WhatsApp, Gmail, Drive, etc.). Those copies are governed by the receiving app's privacy controls — we cannot reach into other apps to delete files you sent to them. You need to delete those copies from the destination app yourself.
