By using ScanSign, you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.
ScanSign is a document-scanning, signing, and PDF tool that runs locally on your Android device. It is published by One91 Network Pte. Ltd., Singapore (UEN 201005367C).
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use ScanSign on your personal Android devices, subject to these terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.
You own everything you scan, sign, and create with ScanSign. We claim no rights over your documents, signatures, or annotations. We also never see them — see the Privacy Policy.
Use ScanSign to scan, sign, and manage documents you have the right to scan and sign. Do not use ScanSign to forge documents, impersonate others, or sign anything on behalf of someone who has not authorised you to do so.
ScanSign captures and places signature images. A signature image is not the same as a cryptographically secure digital signature or a regulated electronic signature (e.g. Aadhaar e-Sign, eIDAS). For documents that require a legally binding electronic signature under your jurisdiction's law, use a service that provides one. ScanSign does not guarantee the legal admissibility of signature images in court.
ScanSign is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, One91 Network Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of your use of ScanSign. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app (which, for the free tier, is zero).
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
