The Play Store listing is going live in the next few days. While it's in review, sideload the same signed APK. Same keystore, same release track, same app.
The standard install path. Auto-updates, Play Protect verification, one-tap install once the listing is live.
The same signed v1.0.1 release. Use this if you want the app today, or prefer not to route through the Play Store.
ScanSign uses Google's ML Kit Document Scanner for capture. Everything else is light.
Most Android users have never sideloaded an app. Android walks you through the steps.
Tap the Download APK button. It saves to Downloads as ScanSign-v1.0.1-release.apk.
Tap the file. Android asks to allow your browser to install apps — tap Settings, enable, back out.
Tap Install. Play Protect may scan — it's signed with our release keystore. Wait 10 seconds.
The icon lands on your home screen. Once the Play Store listing is live you can switch over freely.
To make sure the APK on your phone matches the one we signed, compare the SHA-256 fingerprint of the file against the value below. The same keystore signs the Play Store build.
